See Gym Directions from the left menu for directions for the try-out gym.

You must have a submitted application form and $25 fee paid before you can try-out.  Click on the link below to display an application form that you can print out, complete, and mail to the Boston Monarchs office. If it is too late to mail it, bring the application form and your check with you to the try-out.  After printing, close the new browser window and return to this page.  If you are selected for a team, the AAU season fee of $650 must be paid before the first team practice.

In past years, the Boston Monarchs had many teams playing at the "A" and "B" levels. New prospects are encouraged to attend try-outs. Boston Monarch's teams are filled with top players from around the Boston area and from as far as 25 miles away.   Players came from Boston, Newton, Brookline, Watertown, Somerville, Waltham, Dedham, Milton, Canton, Duxbury, Weymouth, Wellesley, Weston, Waltham, Sudbury, Natick, Framingham, Weston, Dover, Sherborn, Needham, Norwood, Foxborough, Franklin, Walpole, Millis, Medway, Medfield, Westwood, Bellingham, Milford, Attleboro, Hopkinton, Ashland, Milford, Franklin, and other surrounding towns.

New prospects should understand that coaches select players not only for their basketball skills, but also for their athletic ability and their ability to learn. Coaches want players that demonstrate their ability to listen and learn!
